Founded by Dr. Kimberly Molacek, who graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 1999, our practice combines state-of-the-art technology with compassionate care. Dr. Molacek’s vision is to create a family-friendly environment where every patient feels valued and well-informed about their eye health.
We believe that clear vision is essential to enjoying life’s moments. Our goal is to provide comprehensive, patient-centered eye care in a friendly and professional setting, helping you see life happen with clarity and confidence.
Dr. Molacek earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri–St. Louis in 1999 and has proudly served the Milaca and Foley communities ever since. With a passion for caring for patients of all ages, she is dedicated to helping individuals and families maintain healthy vision at every stage of life. Her journey toward optometry began in high school and continued through her undergraduate studies at the University of North Dakota. After completing her optometry training in St. Louis, Dr. Molacek chose to return to rural Minnesota, where she could make a meaningful impact in the communities she calls home.
Dr. Molacek lives in Milaca with her husband, Garrett. Outside the clinic, she enjoys playing piano, spending quality time with her family, and taking part in a variety of outdoor activities..
Dr. Jensen earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He joined Molacek Family Eyecare in 2025 and provides care for patients of all ages and backgrounds at both the Milaca and Foley locations. Dr. Jensen is dedicated to supporting all aspects of eye health, helping patients achieve not only clear vision, but lasting comfort as well.
Originally from Brainerd, Minnesota, Dr. Jensen is proud to serve communities close to home. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys golfing, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Kris joined Molacek Family Eyecare in 2008 and serves as our head optician. With years of experience and a true passion for her work, she enjoys tackling even the most complex vision needs. Kris takes a thorough, personalized approach when helping patients select the right frames and lens options, always staying up to date on the latest advancements in eyewear technology to ensure the best possible results.
Outside of the clinic, Kris enjoys attending tractor pulls, spending time outdoors with her goldendoodle, and making memories with her family.
Julie has been a valued member of the Molacek Family Eyecare team since 2016 and serves as our Insurance Specialist. She is dedicated to helping patients navigate their vision and medical insurance benefits with clarity and ease, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience from start to finish.
Outside the office, Julie enjoys reading, gardening, socializing, and spending time with her family and pets.
Angela joined Molacek Family Eyecare in 2023 and brings a diverse background in customer service management, pharmacy, and PCA work. Her well-rounded experience and strong people skills make her a valuable part of our team, helping ensure each patient feels supported and cared for throughout their visit.
Outside the office, Angela stays busy as a mom and enjoys life on her family homestead. She has a passion for cooking and baking, and also puts her creativity to work as a professional cake decorator.
Jen joined Molacek Family Eyecare in 2024 and brings over 25 years of experience in the optical field. Her knowledge, friendly approach, and genuine enthusiasm for patient care help create a welcoming experience for both new and returning patients.
Outside the office, Jen enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her grandson. She also loves being outdoors and takes every opportunity to enjoy nature whenever she can.
Savannah joined Molacek Family Eyecare in 2023, bringing with her over a decade of experience in receptionist and customer service roles. Her friendly, welcoming personality helps create a comfortable and positive experience for every patient who walks through the door.
Outside the clinic, Savannah enjoys spending quality time with her family—especially camping, biking, and snowmobiling. She also has a passion for cosmetology and loves exploring all aspects of beauty and personal care.
Laurie joined Molacek Family Eyecare in 2024 and brings over 33 years of experience across various areas of the optical field. As a pre-test technician, she enjoys working closely with patients each day and plays an important role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming start to their visit.
Outside of the clinic, Laurie enjoys reading, walking, watching NASCAR racing, and spending time with family and friends.
Laura joined Molacek Family Eyecare in 2020 and brings a strong background in customer service along with many years of experience in office work from her time at Foley Drug. She is known for her helpful, patient-focused approach and is always ready to assist in making each visit a positive experience.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time on her hobby farm with her family and pets.
Mya started at Molacek Family Eyecare in March 2026. She brings a wealth of experience to her role and is highly proficient in performing essential procedures, ensuring accurate & efficient patient assesments. Her calm & friendly approach helps create a smooth & reassuring experience for all our patients.
Mya enjoys thrift shopping and spending quality time with her two cats.
Garrett has been part of Molacek Family Eyecare since 2011 and serves as Office Manager, helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice alongside Dr. Molacek. He enjoys supporting both patients and staff, working through daily challenges, and contributing to a well-organized and welcoming clinic environment.
Garrett is married to Dr. Molacek and together they have two sons. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and hunting.
